BetConstruct alternative: comparing prices with a play-for-fun sportsbook

A BetConstruct alternative for play-for-fun projects: its published setup fees and revenue shares next to flat plans for a sportsbook with no real money.

Updated 6 min readBy The Sportsbook team

If you need a BetConstruct alternative for a real-money sportsbook, you're comparing licensed B2B providers like Kambi, Altenar, SOFTSWISS or Betby. If what you want is the sportsbook experience on your site with no money involved, the alternative is a play-for-fun sportsbook, where players bet free tokens and never real money. BetConstruct is unusual because it publishes its prices, so this page puts its published setup fees and revenue shares next to our flat plans, and explains why they describe different products.

Key takeaways

Who this page is for

If you're an operator with a license and you're shortlisting sportsbook platforms, BetConstruct's competitors are other real-money providers, and The Sportsbook isn't one of them. The last section lists providers to compare, and our comparison of Kambi, Sportradar, Altenar and SOFTSWISS alternatives profiles them.

If you run a community, a fan or media site, a stream or an app with its own points, and you want your audience to bet on real matches for fun, keep reading. That's the case where the price comparison below actually matters.

BetConstruct in its own words

Everything here is taken from BetConstruct's sportsbook page (opens in a new tab), accessed 2026-09-28. The numbers are as claimed on BetConstruct's site; we haven't tested them.

BetConstruct is a full-stack provider for operators taking bets with money, from a white label brand launched on its platform to a turnkey setup under the operator's own license.

The Sportsbook, briefly

We sell one thing: a play-for-fun sportsbook that sites, apps, communities and streamers put on their own pages. Your server opens a session with an API key, your page loads it in an iframe with our SDK, and your players bet tokens you hand out for free. Coverage is 11 sports, pre-match on every plan and live on paid ones, with singles, accumulators, six odds formats and English or Spanish. You choose leagues one at a time from a catalog of more than a thousand, and odds, results and settlement come with the platform. There is no payments side, because nothing of value goes in or out.

Published prices side by side

Of the real-money vendors we checked, only BetConstruct publishes prices on its sportsbook page. That makes a direct comparison possible, as long as you read it for what it is: two different products.

BetConstruct, as published on 2026-09-28 ("The prices may change per market"):

The setup fee is the same across its Classic CMS, SpringBuilderX and Full Package options.

The Sportsbook, at the time of writing (September 2026):

Current prices are on the pricing page. Prices exclude VAT; save up to 20% billed yearly.

Why the numbers don't compare like for like

A revenue share only makes sense when players bring in money. On a real-money platform, the operator's revenue is what players stake minus what they're paid back, and the provider takes its percentage of that. BetConstruct's white label split reflects how much of the operation it runs for the partner.

On a play-for-fun sportsbook there is no player revenue. Tokens are free and worth nothing, so there's nothing to take a share of. We charge a flat fee for software: we don't take a share of tokens or of what players stake. That's why our table has no revenue share column to fill in, and why the two price lists answer different questions.

What you'd still budget for on each side:

Our white label sportsbook cost guide puts BetConstruct's prices next to other published industry ranges, and how much it costs to start a sportsbook covers the full start-up budget in both models.

Questions to ask about a published price list

A published price is a starting point, not the whole bill. If you're evaluating BetConstruct for real-money betting, ask:

For our own plans, the answers are on the pricing page: add-ons are priced publicly, all odds and results are included, and there's no revenue share or minimum.

When BetConstruct-style providers are the right choice

Choose a real-money provider when your business takes bets with money, you have or are getting the licenses for your markets, and you want a platform with wide coverage, payments and risk tools built in. A published price list like BetConstruct's is a real advantage when you're comparing, because most competitors quote only after a sales call. Check the current page before you budget: the prices may change per market.

When a play-for-fun sportsbook is the right choice

Choose a play-for-fun sportsbook when betting is there for engagement, not revenue:

You keep to our play-for-fun rules: tokens only from free sources, nothing of value out, players 18 or older, and no bookmaker links or promo codes around the embed. If your company offers real-money betting, you can use The Sportsbook only for a free-to-play use under a separate written agreement with us.

The cheapest way to test fit is the Free plan: one sport, up to three leagues, pre-match betting and up to 250 monthly active players, with no setup fee and no time limit today. If your audience uses it, moving to Custom adds sports, leagues and live betting at the prices in the table above, with the upgrade prorated.

Other BetConstruct alternatives to compare

For real-money betting, look at these providers too (neutral list, no affiliate links; most quote per operator):

If you're on the play-for-fun side, the numbers are simple enough to check yourself: compare the plans and build a configuration on the pricing page, or try the real embed in the playground (opens in a new tab) first.

Frequently asked questions

How much does BetConstruct's sportsbook cost?

On its sportsbook page, checked on 2026-09-28, BetConstruct lists a €19.9K setup fee (€25K with multi-wallet) and revenue shares of 10–16% to BetConstruct on turnkey or 60% to BetConstruct on white label. It notes that prices may change per market, so confirm with BetConstruct before budgeting.

What does the 60% white label revenue share mean?

In BetConstruct's white label model, as published, BetConstruct keeps 60% of the revenue share and the partner keeps 40%. In the turnkey model the partner keeps 84–90%. The white label carries more of the operation for you, which is reflected in the split. Ask how the revenue base is calculated.

Who are BetConstruct's competitors?

Other B2B sportsbook providers for licensed operators include Kambi, Sportradar, Altenar, SOFTSWISS, EveryMatrix (OddsMatrix), Betby, Digitain and GR8 Tech. Most don't publish prices. For a sportsbook with free tokens and no real money, The Sportsbook is a different kind of product with public flat pricing.

Is The Sportsbook cheaper than BetConstruct?

The prices can't be compared like for like. BetConstruct sells real-money sportsbook technology to licensed operators. The Sportsbook is a play-for-fun sportsbook where players bet free tokens, so there's no player revenue to share. Our plans are flat: $0, from $39 or $399 a month billed yearly (September 2026).
